As a student in UW-Green Bay’s community health education major, you will put factors that influence wellness together to promote a better quality of life for all. Educate people about the availability of healthcare services, teach them healthier behaviors that promote wellness, and develop strategies to improve the well-being of individuals and communities. You could lead your community to improve nutrition, combat substance abuse, prevent the spread of diseases, help people quit smoking and so much more.

"There are multiple reasons why I chose to major in Community Health Education. It covers a variety of interesting topics, provides me with plenty of opportunities and if this is what the world needs right now, then this is what I want to do. I'm not entirely sure what career field I want to enter after my graduation quite yet, but I want to be able to help people, and I feel that this major gives me lots of opportunities to do just that.”
