Attend online continuing education courses.

We create and offer consistent continuing education courses for caregivers that fulfill state-mandated continuing education requirements and provide optional continuing education in important topics.

Custom-created online courses for caregivers to receive 15 hours of continuing education required each year, fulfilling all or part of DHS 83.25 and DHS 88.04(5) state regulations.

Preventing & Overcoming Burnout

Self-Paced Online
3 Hours: $39

Healthcare professionals often face unique challenges that can lead to stress, compassion fatigue and burnout. This course is designed to help participants recognize early signs of burnout, understand its root causes and implement practical strategies to prevent and overcome it. Through a blend of research-based insights and interactive exercises, participants will learn to develop resilience, improve work-life balance and foster supportive workplace environments. Whether you're a frontline worker, caregiver, administrator, or healthcare leader, this course will empower you with tools to enhance your well-being and sustain a fulfilling career in healthcare. Key topics include:

Dementia Care for Caregivers & Administrators

3 Hours: $50 (Caregiver Course)
3 Hours: $75 (Train-the Trainer Course)

All too often caregivers make a challenging situation worse because they do not have the skills needed to help individuals with cognitive deficiencies. Each interactive module will identify communication skills that will improve interactions with residents, especially those who have had past traumatic experiences. Take your Dementia Care knowledge and experience to the next level with this three-hour course. Want to become a trainer to train your staff in Dementia Care? Take the Train-the-Trainer version of the course and receive the curriculum to teach.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for the Assisted Living Industries

0.5 Hour: $15

Inclusion is a key part of a person-centered approach to care. In this course, you will gain a greater awareness of the unique needs of diverse groups relating to their care and/or employment with your company and you will walk away with practical ways to implement policies that will lead to a more inclusive place to live and work.

Safe Person Transfer

1.5 Hours: $35

Residents in assisted living and long-term care facilities often need assistance moving, such as getting in and out of bed, in and out of a wheelchair, or in and out of a transport vehicle. Transferring residents properly and safely is one of the most challenging tasks for caregivers across the health care industry. This course will identify safe practices to ensure the safety of both the resident and caregiver and comes with a participant guide.

Diet & Dysphagia

1 Hour: $25

Many residents in assisted facilities require special dietary adjustments for a variety of reasons. Some experience dysphagia as a result of aging, diseases/disorders or medications that impact their ability to swallow, resulting in a need for modified diet and/or liquids. Learn about dietary needs and how you can help residents with dysphagia.

Preventing Medication Errors

1 Hour: $25

Despite implementing new technologies and streamlining processes, medication errors occur far too frequently. This course will discuss common types of medication errors and how they might be prevented by developing error reduction strategies.

Registration & Cancellation Policy
  • When you register, you will be given immediate access to the course. Courses must be completed within six months of registration.
  • Once you log into the course, you will no longer be able to receive a refund.
  • Registrations may be transferred to another employee no more than one time for a transfer fee of 10% of the registration fee. Full registration fees will be charged for additional transfer requests.
  • Please note: These courses are intended for continuing education purposes. Courses on this page cannot be added to the registry.
