Regulations

We enforce parking regulations on campus to create safe and accessible parking for all students, faculty and community members. Please read through UW-Green Bay's parking regulations to ensure you avoid getting tickets and look out for other people who also want to enjoy our campus.

Standard Campus-Wide Regulations

  • Physical signage is deployed as necessary throughout UW-Green Bay.
  • Any vehicle, after using parking services on campus during hours of enforcement more than 5 unique calendar days in a semester, must have a permit or pay for parking.
  • Vehicles must park within one parking stall in designated parking areas only.
  • Vehicles are prohibited from parking on any area with grass, pathways (paved, improved, natural), sidewalks, fire zones or parking lot end zone.
  • Your license plate must be displayed to the travel lane of the parking area at all times. Your vehicle plate is how your parking rights are validated.
  • All State of Wisconsin motor vehicle laws apply while on University lands, including chapters controlling the registration of vehicles and their safe operation.
  • Storing of vehicles or vehicles that are disabled for more than 72 hours is not permitted.
  • Vehicles which present a hazard due to location, condition or other factors as determined by University Police may be ordered removed and/or removed at owner's expense.
  • Disabled parking spaces are available throughout all parking lots. You must display a Disabled ID Permit on the interior rearview mirror of a motor vehicle.
  • All overnight guests to Residence Life must park in the Studio Arts Parking Lot.
  • Pay-by-app paid parking is available through ParkMobile LLC's application. Use must be consistent with signage.
  • If you break any of these rules, UW-Green Bay Police Officers are authorized to have a vehicle towed from UW-Green Bay campus lands.
