Biochemistry
What is Biochemistry?
Simply put, it’s the study of chemical interactions in living things.
But nothing about biochemistry is simple. It seeks to ask instead of answer. We’ll never know exactly why life exists, but biochemistry studies the precise workings of life. You’ll learn about biochemical structures, heredity and variation, RNA processing, genetic control of development and more.
Courses
Your courses reflect the fact that biochemistry focuses on both biology and chemistry.
Research
Any innovation made in science is thanks to research. Each discovery, whether big or small, is a step toward a better future.
Careers
Biochemists often seek careers in medical discovery fields such as pharmaceuticals, forensics and nutrition.
