Viking Days
The Midwest Viking Festival features battle reenactments, cooking and crafting demonstrations and traditional storytelling, hosted at UW-Green Bay’s very own Viking House.
Our Archives
At the UW-Green Bay Archives and Area Research Center, we house original materials focusing on our region, covering topics like the Civil War, immigration, suffrage and World War II.
Voyageur Magazine
Voyageur is a nonprofit magazine dedicated to preserving the history of a 26-county region of Northeast Wisconsin to highlight our community’s past.

"One thing that stands out to me from my time at UW-Green Bay was the support I received from the faculty, especially the faculty within the History program. I never knew quite what I was capable of until I found myself working on big projects that used data and resources from my own community. I found that when put into a group to get a large project done, I had a lot to give and more skills than I ever would have given myself credit for before.
