Cassidee Guthrie, MS, LPC-IT

Cassidee received her BA from UW Milwaukee and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette. She joined the UWGB Wellness Center Team in Summer of 2024. 
 

Cassidee provides individual counseling at the Wellness Center and can also be found on campus for brief consultation for students during Let’s Talk hours. 

 

Cassidee has a special interest in working with survivors of trauma, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. Other interests include working with students who have anxiety disorders, relationship issues, depression, and ADHD.

 

Cassidee’s approach to counseling is focused on maintaining a positive therapeutic relationship and building trust as a foundation for therapy. Cassidee uses a combination of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) with person centered values at the core.  

 

In her free time, Cassidee enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family, and reading.
