Over the past decade, the LFRWMP has successfully emerged as a shining educational star involving the successful collaboration of UW-Green Bay, area high schools, and community partners. This collaboration, in turn, has shown potential to make valuable contributions to regional environmental protection and public policy. The educational benefits of the project are obvious, but these wider applications set the program apart from most other innovative educational initiatives.
Our donors make an investment in and commitment to science education and water quality in our communities and share your passion for community based science education. Donations support helps us provide resources and teach students to become better stewards of our local water resources.
This program was established in 2003 partially through a major gift from Arjo Wiggins Ltd. to the Univiersity of Wisconsin-Green Bay. In 2010 Arjo-Wiggens provided additional funds to grow and partially endow the program.

The LFRWMP office is located in the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity. Center staff provide logistical and technical expertise to support the watershed program.
The Departments of Natural & Applied Sciences and Outreach and Extension provide technical expertise and funds to partially support the coordination of the LFRWMP program.
