Jill Sobieck
Impact Initiatives and Outreach Manager, Brown County United Way
Jill Sobieck has been with Brown County United Way since 2013 and serves as the Impact Initiatives and Outreach Manager; managing the development and investment of neighborhood and place-based strategies to support strong, thriving neighborhoods and community. In recent years, Jill has worked closely with program investment related to Education and initiative work like the Community Partnership for Children strategy, and the Child Abuse and Neglect Initiative. Jill has an extensive background in working with cross-sector partners in developing program objectives, leading projects, building collaborative relationships, and engaging community leaders and volunteers. Sobieck has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She also serves on the Brown County Partners in Education Board and is the President-Elect for the Bay Area Managers of Volunteer Services (BAMVS). She has served on the state advisory council for Reach out and Read, a national early childhood literacy organization and the Brown County Child Maltreatment Advisory Council. She is currently pursuing a Micro-Masters certificate in Social Work. Jill lives in Luxemburg with her husband Paul, and they have two adult children. Jill enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and playing with her goldendoodle.
