Spirit Week is a five-day event that celebrates our current Phoenix family and alumni! Get involved by participating in the car and residence hall door decorating competitions, participate in the "Pie an Athlete" fundraiser, attend the Krash the Kress tailgate party and watch the UW-Green Bay men's basketball team battle St. Thomas.

Spirit Week is a campus-wide celebration that is open to all UW-Green Bay students, faculty, staff and alumni. Some events, like Krash the Kress, are ticketed.
Car decorating
Sign up to compete, then decorate your car according to the school spirit themes for a chance to win the grand prize.

Adorn your residence hall door with UW-Green Bay decor! Visit the Phlashy Decor event to pick up materials.
Krash the
Kress
The ultimate pre-game celebration.
Krash the Kress is the epic lead up to the UW-Green Bay men's basketball game against St. Thomas. Enjoy a traditional tailgate meal, play some giant lawn games or a round of trivia, and stick around for a chance to win some UW-Green Bay swag. Admission is free for current UW-Green Bay students. Alumni and community members can purchase tickets through Eventbrite.

Car Decorating and Residence Hall Door Decorating Competitions
Show off your school spirit by decorating your car and/or residence hall door with Phoenix-style flair! Registration is required for both competitions; sign up closes Wednesday, November 6 and winners are announced on Friday, November 8.

Color Group Reunion

Calling all first-year students! Celebrate spirit week by reconnecting with your Color Group. Join your fellow students and Student Ambassadors for karaoke, walking tacos, inflatable jousting and games.

Dress Up Theme: Meme Day
Pie an Athlete
Noon-2 p.m. | University Union Bookstore Booth
Bring your school spirit and aim to pie an athlete! This fundraiser is a great chance to meet some of our student athletes on our campus. $1.00 per pie; all proceeds go to the Student Government Association.

Spirit Week Car Decorating Competition Viewing
9-10 a.m. | Weidner Parking Lot
Rev up your engines and get ready to show off your UWGB pride! Our inaugural Spirit Week car decorating competition will showcase the amazing talent of our current students in our parking lot parade. Judging and awards will be announced at the reception. All are welcome to our viewing and we highly encourage current students and alumni to show up with their Phoenix Pride!

10-11 a.m. | The Weidner, Grand Foyer
The Spirit Week Reception is open to all of our students, staff, faculty, and alumni. We will have light refreshments and winners will be announced for our campus department, car and residence hall door decorating competitions.
Krash the Kress
4-6 p.m. | Kress Events Center West Gym
Gear up for the big game by enjoying a tailgate dinner, participating in games, trivia and photo opportunities, and meeting up with various affinity groups. Admission is free to current UW-Green Bay students. Alumni and community members can purchase tickets through Eventbrite.
Alumni Affinity Group Socials
5-6 p.m. | Kress Events Center West Gym
Current students and alumni can connect over conversation, activities and food at these socials. Meet up with your affinity group: Student Ambassadors, Good Times Programming, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Multicultural and LGBTQIA2S+ communities.
UW-Green Bay Men's Basketball vs. St. Thomas
6 p.m. | Kress Events Center
Cheer on the Green Bay Phoenix as they battle the University of St. Thomas. Keep the fun going by participating in minute-to-win-it games at halftime.
