A Flurry of Fun

January 23 - February 6, 2025

Snowcoming is a way to connect with campus and meet new friends, even in the cold weather. Fuel up for the first day of classes with free hot cocoa and brownies, attend New Years-themed Bingo, take a trip off campus and cap it all off with Krash the Kress! Experience all this and more while starting your semester off strong.

Snowcoming Contests and Competitions

The entire UW-Green Bay community is invited to participate in some friendly competition during Snowcoming! All contests begin on Thursday, January 23 and winners will be announced at Krash the Kress on Thursday, February 6. Sign up and view contest rules below or visit the Student Engagement Center (UU 150) if you'd like more information.

Basketball Coloring Sheet

Unleash your creativity by coloring a basketball. Artwork will be showcased for voting, and one winner will receive a bundle of merchandise from the Phoenix Bookstore.

Basketball Decorating

Come together with members of your student organization and decorate a mini basketball. Compete against other orgs for a chance to win a pizza party!

What's in the Box?
Inspired by Jimmy Fallon’s game show "Box of Lies," participants will take turns on stage choosing to lie or tell the truth about what they are seeing in their box. Snacks will be provided!

Join Planned Parenthood and GTP for cookies and a yummy hot cocoa bar with all the toppings. Planned Parenthood will also be providing educational information about contraceptives and will provide materials for birth control themed crafts.

Snowshoe @ Shorewood + Hot Chocolate
Enjoy a relaxing snowshoe walk around campus and enjoy hot chocolate in the Outdoor Adventure Center afterwards. The perfect opportunity for a quick snowshoe outing, to learn how to snowshoe or to show your friends the ropes!

Sample the wide variety of group fitness classes UREC has to offer this semester! Short 10-minute classes will take place throughout the event so you can test them out, meet the instructors, and see what the hype is about! No registration required.

Titletown Ice Skating & Tubing Trip
Take a trip to Titletown for ice skating and tubing by Lambeau Field! $12 tickets are available for UW-Green Bay students at the University Ticketing & Information Center (UTIC) in the University Union. Guests may purchase tickets at Titletown. 

Tickets include skate and tube rentals and optional transportation to Titletown. The bus for students and guest leaves MAC Circle at 4:30 p.m.

Gear up for the big game with free tailgate food, games, trivia, and sign decorating! Learn some cheers and participate in the Pie an Athlete fundraiser. Stick around immediately after for the Green Bay Women's Basketball Game against Youngstown State. Admission is free with your UW-Green Bay University ID.
