University Student Ambassadors
Elevate the GB Experience
Ambassadors are go-to guides for incoming students.
As a Student Ambassador, you'll be the ultimate go-to guide for incoming students, sharing your insider knowledge and passion for UW-Green Bay to ensure they have an unforgettable first year. Our ambassadors are academic achievers with a strong campus presence, selected through an interview process each spring.
What do Ambassadors Do?
Three major responsibilities that welcome students to campus.
GB Orientation & GB Welcome
One of your primary responsibilities is to welcome new students to UW-Green Bay through such programs as GB Orientation and GB Welcome. You'll also have roles at other events throughout the year.
Write to Incoming Students
Over the summer, you'll write to incoming first-year students to help prepare them for college life.
Give Tours
Guide people through campus, showcasing our beautiful location by the Bay and our state-of-the-art facilities for student learning. You'll give tours during the academic year.
