Financial Aid Pay Permission
You can authorize UW-Green Bay to have your federal student aid pay your current year non-institutional charges.
- Students will see the Financial Aid Pay Permissions in the “To Do” box on their SIS homepage.
- Students are encouraged to complete the Permissions.
- Students have option to Opt Out of Permissions at a later time.
How to Complete Financial Aid Pay Permissions
Title IV aid refers to Federal Student Aid which are from federal student aid programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education. The U.S. Department of Education allows schools to use your Federal Student Aid to pay for current academic year institutional charges, unless you have granted permission to apply these funds to non-allowable charges as well. Examples of Title IV aid include, but are not limited to, Federal Direct Student Loans, Federal Pell Grant, Federal Perkins Loan and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants.
- Login to SIS.
- Locate in your To Do box 'Financial Aid Pay Permissions'
- Click the Financial Aid Pay Permissions
- Review permissions; click “Accept,” and then click “Save”
- Click the Exit button on top right corner to move to next screen
How to Opt Out
- Students may 'Opt Out' of a previously given Financial Aid Pay Permission
- Print the Opt Out form below.
- Complete the form, sign and forward to the Student Billing Resources Office.
