Delores Rose ("Dolly") Brault
Delores ("Dolly") Rose Brault, 71, died Thursday, January 8, 2016 at home due to complications from battling illness. She was born on October 16, 1944, to Roman and Helen (Sluzas) Kopinski in Whipple, West Virgina. Both parents are deceased.
Dolly grew up in West Virginia and Virginia. After graduating from high school, Dolly began to work for the U.S. Army. While working there, she met her future husband, Ronald Brault (deceased). They were married in Virginia in early 1963. Ron and Dolly were married for over 50 years until Ron's passing. They had two boys, Mark and David, and two grandchildren, Mitchell and Austin.
In the 1960s, Dolly moved to Wisconsin with Ron after Ron's service stint. She worked in the administration at St. Norbert's College while Ron attended school there and subsequently coached basketball. Thereafter, Dolly worked in the administration for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay until her retirement.
Dolly enjoyed being outdoors, crafting, cooking, resolving the countless family disputes on sporting topics, and tending to her various dogs throughout the years. She will be greatly missed by friends and family. Dolly is survived by her sons, Mark and David, two grandchildren Mitchell and Austin, brother-in law Reggie (and his spouse Kim), brother Joseph, and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Unity hospice staff, the Three Sisters caregivers (Lucy and Carol) and friends, Judy and Kathy, for their devoted care and assistance with Dolly during her illness.
The family would also like to thank Newcomer Funeral Home with assisting for burial arrangements. Dolly insisted that her services be private and as such there will be no public services. The family hopes you understand they have followed Dolly's wishes.

Campus saddened by passing of Delores Brault
(Published Jan. 12, 2016, Log newsletter, UW-Green Bay)
Delores Brault, who worked more than 30 years serving UWGB Academic Deans, and retired a few years ago, passed away this week. In receiving the Classified Staff Award of Excellence in 2002, it was noted that Brault "had 'trained' 19 deans during her employment at UW-Green Bay." She was acknowledged for providing "the highest level of administrative support" in a position with vast responsibilities, and described as "the backbone of the Academic Deans Office," and "a model of excellence." Brault was credited with being a resource to students, faculty and staff, in addition to the deans. Her family and friends honored her wishes of a private service.
