We welcome all, in-state or out, but which state you're from can determine your tuition. It's worthwhile to find out more.
Residency Status
Residency classification is made during the admission process. So, if you haven't, apply now. The determination is based on many different factors including, but not limited to:
- How long you've lived in Wisconsin
- Legal dependence upon a parent or legal guardian with bona fide Wisconsin residence
- High school of graduation
- Verification of employment relocation
- Explore all the qualifications for residency status
Residency Discounts
Information regarding resident classification for tuition purposes:
- Midwest Student Exchange—If you're a Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, or Ohio resident, you can attend at a reduced rate. Check out the MSEP costs.
- Minnesota-Wisconsin Reciprocity—If your from Minnesota, enroll for the same rate. Contact us to get started.
- Return to Wisconsin—Did you parents or grandparents attend UW-Green Bay and you do not live in Wisconsin currently? There's a discount for that.
- Resident Fee Status—Explore the rules of being a bona fide resident of Wisconsin.
