Blue Glass
Also known as smalt when ground as a pigment is a deep blue colored glass prepared by including a cobalt compound, typically cobalt oxide, or cobalt carbonate, in a glass melt.
Bora-Silica Glass
A type of glass with silica and boron trioxide as the main glass-forming constitutes. It is commonly found in chemistry labs, industrial settings, kitchenware, and premium wine glasses.
Brown/Amber Glass
Are favored for products that need to be protected from UV light when stored.
Clear/Flint Glass
A form of optical glass that’s very transparent and has a high refractive index.
Green Glass
A low-grade soda-lime glass whose natural green color is due to impurities in the raw material.
Mixed Cullet
Pieces of finished glass that, when mixed with raw materials and charged to a glassmaking furnace, is used to produce new glass.
