University Police Operational Policies

This list is not all inclusive. University Police are in the process of updating all Policies to be in conformance with Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group standards. Policies with a "M" after the number are state mandated.

Other Policies

  • AED: provides information for location and use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) on UW-Green Bay campuses.
  • Building Access OP-29-21-10 (Amended 1/18/23): establishes official hours for all University buildings and outlines access to those buildings after closing.
  • Caregiver Background Check Policy: outlines protocol for all required caregiver background checks for students in internships, clinical education or field placement program.
  • Medical Amnesty Policy: seeks to diminish fear of disciplinary and conduct sanctions in such situations and to encourage individuals to seek needed medical attention immediately for students in distress from alcohol and/or drug use.
  • Minor Protection & Adult Leadership: protects the safety and well-being of minors that attend our various programs, but also aims to protect adult employees and volunteers.
  • Security Camera Policy: regulates the use of security cameras on campus.
