Parenting Resources
Student-Parent
Support
Whether you're a part-time or full-time student, you'll always be a full-time parent.
As a student and a parent, you're not just focusing on providing for yourself; you're also providing for your children. You may feel like you're being pulled in a lot of directions: focus on your classes, spend time with your kids, maybe work (and also throw in some relaxation time, if that's possible). Plus, paying for childcare and tuition at the same time can be daunting. In fact, in more than 30 states, childcare costs are higher than tuition at public colleges. To succeed as a student-parent, surround yourself with our community of support.
Caregiver Kits
Green Bay and Sheboygan library locations have Caregiver Kits available for checkout for up to three days and have appropriate toys for kiddos ages: 0-12 months, 12-24 months, 2+ years, 5+ years. We also have “Sensory Friendly” kits available at each library location appropriate for kids ages 2 years and older. Just bring your student ID to the circulation desk and ask for one! Please contact the Reference Desk with any questions: refdesk@uwgb.edu.
Title IX
Title IX prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school or any other education program that receives funding from the federal government.

The Grant is a

The grant has truly been a game-changer, enabling me to pursue my academic goals while ensuring that my child receives the care and support, he need. I am so glad UWGB has given me the opportunity to pursue my dream to become a teacher."
