Mussie Teclezion is a Associate Professor of Finance at the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business. He received B.A. in Accounting from University of Asmara, Eritrea in 1999, M.B.A. from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 2003, and PhD in Business Administration (Finance) from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale in 2008.
Dr. Teclezion teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance, including Corporation Finance and Principles of Investments. His research areas include corporate investment policy, geographic and industrial diversification strategies, mergers & acquisitions, and earnings management. Dr. Teclezion’s research has been published in Banking and Finance Review, Managerial Finance, Research in International Business and Finance.
Dr. Teclezion is faculty advisor for Student Finance Association. He is member of the UW-Green Bay’s General Education council and the Greater Green bay’s Diversity and Inclusiveness Task Force. He also serves in Brown County’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration planning committee and chairs the Fundraising Sub-Committee.
