Oneidas and Work

When the Oneidas arrived here, they did all kinds of work. Some sold wood, logs, furs, and others found work in Green Bay. They went to shell corn that was in boats, and they were also paid in corn for their work. The women had baskets that they would load with groceries that they earned.
