English Translation
She Fights a Bear
They say that once there was a woman travelling along the road and all of a sudden this bear attached her. She couldn’t run away because she hadn’t seen the bear from very far away. She was carrying a big knife and she used it to cut him all over his body. Finally she was able to get loose. He had made quite a few marks on her shoulders, so when she got back to where she lived, she told about what had happened to her. So her father went out looking for the bear. He found him but the bear was already dead.
