Nurse 1-2-1 Admissions
1Program Eligibility Requirements
This program is designed for high school seniors. To be eligible for the Nurse 1-2-1 program, you must meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma with GPA of 3.0 or higher at time of application.
- If available, minimum ACT composite score of 22; English of 21; math of 22; science of 22 at time of application.
- Admission to UW-Green Bay.
Preferred Eligibility Criteria
- Three high school science courses such as biology, chemistry or anatomy and physiology with a grade of B or better.
- High school math courses including algebra, geometry and advanced algebra with a grade of B or better.
- Completion of a Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) approved nursing assistant course (required prior to Year 2).
- Related volunteer or healthcare work experiences.
- Ability to speak a language other than English.
2Application Process
- Apply to UW-Green Bay as a pre-nursing student.
- Complete the NURSE 1-2-1 Application Form using your UW-Green Bay student username, password and ID number.
The application opens October 1, and applications are accepted until the program is full. If you submit the Nurse 1-2-1 application by January 1, you'll be notified by January 15. Applications received after January 1 will be reviewed as space allows.
