Natural & Applied Sciences Seminars

Food, Fun & Riveting Research

Free and open to the public: Friday Natural & Applied Science (NAS) seminars.

Every other Friday afternoon, the third floor of the Environmental Sciences building is one of the busiest places on campus. At a time when many students, faculty and staff are winding down the week, others are gathering for a seminar series featuring food, fun and riveting research. Come to hear talks from local and internationally recognized experts in their field on a variety of topics: biology, chemistry, environmental science, geoscience and water science. Students in the sciences are especially encouraged to attend to find out more about the current problems being addressed in different fields and to investigate possible educational and career paths.
