f you like to experiment and improvise with music, jazz is perfect for you. A relatively modern genre, this type of music proves that in order to break the rules, you must first learn them. Our jazz ensembles help you develop a sense of group dynamics and improve your musical skills.
Jazz I
Our Jazz Ensemble I is headlined by the finest jazz students at UW-Green Bay. It’s open to students by audition.
Jazz II
Even if you’re not a music major, you can engage in rhythm and blues. Just like Jazz Ensemble I, Jazz Ensemble II is open to students by audition.
Jazz Combos
Get even more personalized attention – our small jazz combos are available to students and foster the development of improvisation and arranging.
Vocal Jazz Ensemble
This ensemble consists of our most talented jazz voice students at UW-Green Bay. To join, you must audition.
