Bailey Tlachac
Shekoli (Hello)! My name is Bailey Tlachac and I joined Multicultural Resource Center team in August 2024.
I am an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin and a proud alumna of UW – Green Bay. I graduated in 2021 with a bachelor's in First Nations Studies with minors in Psychology and Democracy and Justice Studies. Then, I attended Syracuse University to obtain my master's in Higher Postsecondary Education in 2023. Prior to joining the Multicultural Resource Center, I was the Program Coordinator for the Native Student Program at Syracuse University in which I created programming for our Indigenous students and the larger campus community.
I am also a current doctoral student in the First Nations Education program here. My scholarly interests lie in creating strategies to measure sense of belonging on college campuses, grounded in tribalCRT and cultural capital wealth and utilizing an anti-deficit lens.
In my free time, I enjoy trying new hobbies, listening to music, and learning languages.
