  1. SCM 701 SCM Strategies & Financing: prepares you to develop and implement successful SCM strategies that ensure business success while minimizing environmental and societal negative impacts. Emphasis is placed on leveraging the financial strengths of supply chain partners, fostering sustainable practices and navigating the complexities of global supply chains.
  2. SCM 702 Advanced Logistic Management: emphasizes the critical role of logistics and transportation in business operations. You will explore various strategies for cost optimization in logistics and transportation management, gaining insights into how to improve efficiency and effectiveness in these areas. 

Elective Courses

  1. FIN 446/646 Advanced Corporate Finance: examines short-term and long-term financial decisions under risk and uncertainty, financial analysis, planning, and control. It covers theories and applications of capital structure, cost of capital, dividend policies, working capital management, long-term financing decisions, valuation of mergers and acquisitions, and international capital budgeting.
  2. SCM 780 Advanced Project Management: tailored for graduate students and follows the project management methodology recommended by the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA. It prepares students to manage projects from inception to completion in a structured manner and introduces agile and lean project management methodologies.
  3. ISCM 7710 Supply Chain Customer Synchronization (through UW-Platteville): covers the principles and concepts of Supply Chain Customer Synchronization, focusing on aligning strategies with key customers. It includes detailed procedures for designing, implementing and controlling synchronization strategies and addresses the challenges involved in synchronizing with key customers.
  4. ISCM 7720 Reverse Logistics (through UW-Platteville): explores the principles and concepts of reverse logistics, highlighting strategies for customer returns, product value extraction, cross-functional collaboration, cost reduction and revenue generation. It focuses on reverse logistical flows starting from the customer and emphasizes the importance of customer behavior and coordination.
