You'll take diverse culture courses, from literature and cinema to politics and business. Practical experiences like internships, club leadership and studying abroad are available too. By the end of your coursework, you'll be a more knowledgeable global citizen, able to interact with people worldwide.

Listen & Learn
Join a vibrant community of language lovers in the Language Resource Center.
Studio Arts Room 355, the Language Resource Center, is your go-to spot to engage with fellow students, access top-notch resources and sharpen your language skills. The room is keypad entry only, so if you want to visit, contact us. The center offers opportunities to:
- connect to speakers in other countries
- watch current television programs from abroad
- access our significant foreign film collection
- practice pronunciation
- play international computer programs
- complete audio and video listening and writing assignments for classes
Match Your Skill LEvel
If you have some level of familiarity in French, German or Spanish, take the placement test to ensure you're in a course that matches your skill level. You can even earn retroactive credit for placement beyond the first semester course!

Conversation Tables
Learning a language takes practice. Join us at or weekly modern language conversation tables to practice speaking a different language, meet new friends, start a hobby or brush up for summer travel! All conversations tables are located in the Einstein Café in the Union across from the Phoenix Rooms.

UW-Green Bay offers a variety of ways for you to experience other cultures.
Whether you're interested in study abroad for a semester or taking a quick, two-week immersion, there are ways learn more about the language you are studying.
