Join us for a unique craft show experience! Enjoy a comfortable coach bus ride to Milwaukee with plenty of overhead and under-bus storage to transport the treasures you are sure to find at the market. re: Craft & Relic is the largest market of its kind in Southeastern Wisconsin with over 160 booths, plus live music, food trucks and mobile boutiques. The vendors travel from across the Midwest to bring you knitwear, fiber arts, home décor, furniture, apparel, handbags, accessories, children’s items, hand poured candles, prints and illustrations, bath and body products, greeting cards, ceramics and pottery, artisan food products and curated collections both new and vintage.

We will meet on the UW-Green Bay campus at 7:30 a.m. and enjoy early shopping at the market. Cost is $49 and includes your transportation, admission to the market, as well as light refreshments, snacks and water on the bus. There are food trucks available at the market, so you are able to customize your day and find whatever suits your palate for lunch. All are welcome! You do not have to be a Lifelong Learning member to travel with us. Don’t miss out on this special experience.

Pickup Information: Meet in Wood Hall parking lot on the UW-Green Bay campus. Exact pickup time and more information will be sent to travelers who register. The bus will return to the UW-Green Bay Campus between 4-5 p.m. No refunds.

Anne Frank’s life and words continue to have a powerful meaning for young people around the world. This interactive presentation offers an online tour (a virtual reality experience) of the Secret Annex in the Anne Frank House as an example of an online resource that can be used to prepare students to read and comprehend "The Diary of a Young Girl" within the larger historical framework of the Holocaust. Led by a senior educator from the Anne Frank House, Aaron Peterer, this interactive presentation will leave time for Q&A. Prior to the virtual tour please view the powerful documentary “The Short Life of Anne Frank” to prepare for the program.

Meet Our Online Tour Guide
Aaron Peterer

Aaron Peterer has been working for the Anne Frank House since 2002. Being Austrian he had the opportunity to do his civil service in the form of a memorial service for 14 months at the Anne Frank House. After completion of his service, he continued working in the International Department of the Anne Frank House. 

Today, he is a Project Manager in the Educational Projects Department. He has worked in Western, as well as in non-Western, educational and cultural settings. He co-conceptualized the Free2choose-Create and Memory Walk film workshops, where students create debate films on human rights dilemmas and on memorialization. These educational projects are implemented all across the globe in cooperation with partner organizations. He also works as a freelance filmmaker, mainly producing educational documentaries. Aaron holds a degree in Comparative Arts and Media Studies from the Free University of Amsterdam.

Join Lifelong Learning Institute.

If you are looking for more ways to expand your mind, body and spirit, the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) might be your answer. LLI is a friendly, member-led program, offering non-credit enrichment classes and activities in wide-ranging interest areas from history, science and technology to art, writing and music. We also offer tours to local landmarks. For an affordable annual fee, you gain access to up to 20 classes each semester.
