About Us
The purpose of the program is to bring well-qualified professionals from other countries to lecture and teach on the two campuses and to provide educational benefits to the citizens of Green Bay and surrounding communities.
The overall objective is to improve international understanding by providing opportunities to learn from visiting scholars and for them to learn from us.
- The Program has been in existence since 2003. It was signed by Chancellor Bruce Shepard of UW-Green Bay and President William Hynes of St. Norbert College.
- During the first five-year period of its existence, the program provided support for ten visiting scholars.
- In April 2009, a new five-year agreement for continuation of the program was signed by President Thomas Kunkel of St. Norbert College and Acting Chancellor David Ward from UW-Green Bay.
- The resources available under the new agreement are sufficient to support at least one visiting scholar per academic year.
