A Community Campus

Committed to our Community

Our campus is your campus.

Whether they’re cheering in the stands at a Phoenix Women’s Basketball game, taking in a show at the Weidner or Bayshore Arts Center or playing disc golf at Shorewood, UW-Green Bay is a place where people gather.

Support Community Outreach

Igniting Northeastern Wisconsin

One of our priorities as a public university is bringing our University to the public. With our D1 athletics teams, recreation opportunities, and exceptional theatre and arts centers, we’re doing just that.

The Weidner

The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS) serves at the intersection of society’s most serious problems and its biggest opportunities.

Its mission is to harness the transformative power of big ideas and translate them into real-world action. To cultivate curious and creative problem-solvers who leave UW-Green Bay prepared to be successful in their personal and professional lives, to embrace a changing world and to contribute to the wellness of their communities.

Bayshore Arts

Community theatre and arts are vibrant in the Real North. Bayshore Arts Center is home to Theatre on the Bay, Children’s Theatre, the West Shore Chorale and the Fine Arts Gallery.  These programs have been entertaining residents and visitors for decades. Your support ensures the Bayshore Arts Center will continue to delight, educate, and entertain future generations.

Athletics

UW-Green Bay and Phoenix Athletics are critical to the growth and vibrancy of the region and State. We have a tradition-rich athletics program built by legendary coaches, staff and student-athletes and tremendous support of many amazing fans, friends and alumni. Entering our 40th year in Division I, it’s time for the Phoenix to rise and ensure we are in a position of strength within the changing landscape of college athletics around the country.

A successful Division I athletics program enhances the institutional profile, helps inspire and instill connections on campus, drives enrollment growth, increases school spirit and enthusiasm and helps drive home the mission, vision and values of the University.

Shorewood Park

UW-Green Bay is transforming the historical Shorewood property to an amazing multipurpose athletic and recreational complex, which is a tremendous asset for the community, University and environment.

The redevelopment includes a premier cross-country course for use by UW-Green Bay’s men’s and women’s teams, youth and high school meets and public runners and walkers alike. In the winter months, the site becomes a training course for UW-Green Bay’s Nordic ski program.

Wildlife restoration efforts are reestablishing a vibrant Oak Savannah ecosystem at Shorewood with native species and pollinators galore. Meanwhile, the newly established Shorewood Disc Golf Course is bringing recreation enthusiasts from all over to UW-Green Bay.
