After Applying
You've completed your FAFSA, congratulations! Here are your next steps:
1 Apply to UW-Green Bay
We can't offer you financial aid until you have been admitted as a degree-seeking student. Apply to UW-Green Bay.
2 Log in to the FAFSA site
- Log in to the FAFSA site and check to ensure that your FAFSA application was processed and has no errors or missing items. It typically takes three to five days to process, so do this within a week of submission.
- Watch your email. If everything was processed, you'll get your Student Aid Report (SAR) with all the details of your application. Review it carefully to make sure it's complete and there are no errors.
- Make sure UW-Green Bay's school code (003899) is listed on your FAFSA application.
3 Check your 'To Do List'
We get processed FAFSA applications beginning in early December. You will want to log in to UW-Green Bay's Student Information System (SIS) regularly until you are offered financial aid. If any additional information is required of you, you will see 'To Do List' items on the right hand side of your home page.
4 Check your email
Monitor your UW-Green Bay email account. Financial aid offers start being sent out in mid-February. You'll receive an email once you have been offered financial aid. At that time, go to the 'Review Your Offer' stage of our Financial Aid Process for more information.
