The enduring questions that guide my research are, what material-discursive conditions support humans in living lives both fully actualized and in symbiotic relationship with one another and our Earth home and, in what ways can policies, practices, and pedagogy in early childhood education create this relational equity?  I see these questions as grounded in what scholars Eve Tuck and K. Wayne Yang name abolitionist and decolonial pedagogies, that is, the everyday moment to moment responsibility and opportunity to remake the world in ways that abolish unjust systems and decolonize inherited hegemonic structures to turn towards justice and mutual wellbeing.
