Biography

A Metro-Detroit native, Sera received her Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Design and Technology from Eastern Michigan University and worked for some time as the resident stage manager and company manager for the Encore Musical Theatre Company in Dexter, Michigan. She later moved to Logan, Utah to pursue her MFA in Scenic Design from Utah State University, where she taught courses in stagecraft, scenic design, and stage management. While in Utah, Sera also had the opportunity to work regionally with companies such as Salt Lake Acting Company and Lyric Repertory Company. Professionally, Sera's other interests include projection design, properties, scene painting, and stage management, while her personal interests include experimenting in the kitchen and hiking with her dogs.
