Dr. Randall Meder has been Director of Choral Activities at UW-Green Bay since 2006, and Chair of the Music Program since 2016. He conducts the Concert Choir and teaches courses in Conducting, Choral Literature, and Music Education. Dr. Meder is also the founder and conductor of the Green Bay Choral Artists, a select vocal ensemble that performs masterworks from the choral repertory, and has collaborated with the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra and Civic Symphony of Green Bay. From 2009-2013 he was Artistic Director of the Green Bay Boy Choir, where he conducted the touring choirs Nicolet and Joliet.

Prior to joining the faculty at UW-Green Bay he was Director of Choral Activities at NC State University for five years. From 1992-1996 he taught high school choral music in New Holstein, WI before returning to graduate school, and has continued to work as a clinician with ensembles in Wisconsin, Illinois, North Carolina and Virginia. He is a frequent guest conductor throughout Wisconsin, having worked with middle and high school choirs, church choirs, community and professional ensembles.

Dr. Meder studied choral music with Beverly Taylor, Fred Stoltzfus, Don Moses, Timothy Stalter, Scott MacPherson, Robert Fountain, and Robert Shaw. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and Master's degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Conducting and Literature from the University of Illinois.
