Kristin Dachelet MSW, LCSW

Counselor
Kristin Dachelet MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She joined the Wellness Center team in November 2024.
 
Kristin provides individual counseling to students in the areas of trauma, relationship and family concerns, anxiety, depression, grief and attachment. Kristin also works with students around clinical case management to support in accessing mental health and other wellness services in the community.
 
Kristin obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a minor in Educational Policy from UW-Madison and a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Washington-Seattle. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, attachment therapy, child and family therapy and has past experience working in non-profit clinical settings.
 
Kristin’s approach to counseling is collaborative and strengths-based, centered on building a strong therapeutic relationship. She works to support students by tapping into their strengths and developing coping strategies in a way that supports their unique needs and goals.
 
In her spare time, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and cooking.
