Kristin Bouchard
Kristin Bouchard (’93) joined UW-Green Bay in July of 2022. An alumna of UW-Green Bay, she brings more than 25 years of communications experience including media relations, content creation, internal/external communication, and strategic planning. Most recently, Kristin owned her own freelance writing business where she had the opportunity transform words into stories for a variety of local and national organizations.
Kristin received her bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from UW-Green Bay. Her work can be seen in US News & World Report, and she was recently published in the Old Glory Honor Flight’s Return To Nam book featuring stories of 52 Wisconsin Vietnam veterans participating in an Old Glory Honor Flight to Vietnam in February 2019. She has also worked in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors in the newspaper, banking, and health care fields. In spring of 2019 she presented at the Untitled Town Book and Author Festival in Green Bay.
Her work includes daily content development, both for internal and external audiences, and across multiple platforms. Content priorities support student retention, recruitment and advancement efforts. Kristin leads the University’s storytelling initiatives, while supervising the content team (encompassing web, video, social media, email, media relations, magazine production and internal communications).
Kristin is a member of the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon board of directors and during her free time, enjoys reading, journaling, gardening, socializing at her sons’ sporting events and enjoying Wisconsin’s great outdoors all year long. She lives in West De Pere with her husband, two sons and her rescue dog, Sunshine.
