Meet Our Catering Provider
On-campus catering is provided by our exclusive vendor: University Dining & Catering, powered by Chartwells Higher Education. Offering a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options – plus everything in between like snacks and refreshments – the University Dining & Catering Team can bring your vision of tasty treats and scrumptious samplings to life. Our catering team is well-versed in accommodating special diets and allergies and is skilled in cooking up a diverse plate that fits any budget.
Ordering Food For Your Event
Placing a catering order through University Dining & Catering is the most popular and preferred option for on-campus events. Additional options include purchasing food from an approved off-campus vendor with a budget of $150 or less or submitting a non-standard food request for special circumstances.
Option 1
Place an Order with University Dining & Catering
Any on-campus events are expected to utilize University Dining & Catering for catering services.
Campus Departments & Off-Campus Clients
At least two weeks before your event, email or call our catering team at 334-610-5874. Include your name, event name and date, and anticipated attendance number. The catering team will follow up with you to discuss logistics and provide a customized menu for your event.
Student Organizations
Ensure you are following the proper procedures for registering your event and ordering food through the Student Engagement Center. Visit Phoenix Connect to get started.
Menus
Browse menu options or place your order directly through the catering portal. Please note that menu options may vary if your request is submitted less than two weeks prior to your event.
Option 2
Utilize an Approved Off-Campus Vendor
Small events with a food budget of $150 or less may utilize an approved off-campus vendor. No prior approval is needed to source from an off-campus vendor, but be prepared to discuss your catering plan at your pre-event meeting with our staff.

Option 3
Submit a Non-Standard Food Request
The Non-Standard Food Event Authorization (NSFEA) Form is reserved for special events with very specific dietary needs or preferences. This may include:
- Inquiry to use a vendor that is not on the approved vendor list
- Food sold by a truck or off-campus vendor
- A cultural or specific menu that University Dining & Catering is unable to accommodate
Requests must be submitted at least one month prior before your event.

Dietary Needs
The University Dining & Catering and culinary teams are expertly trained in creating menu options that accommodate special dietary preferences, needs and restrictions. Let us know if you need things like vegan or vegetarian dishes or allergen and Celiac-friendly offerings. Our on-staff registered dietitian is ready to help with any special requests or requirements.
