"Through the program I was provided experience in various settings: clinical, food service, school, community, etc. While I didn’t pursue a career in some of these settings, having experience in each of these helped me to understand what is unique in each of these settings. I have found myself using knowledge and skills gained from those experiences in food service and community in my clinical role as we provide food demos, work on implementing an on-site food pantry, and provide other support to our patients.
