General Ledger

The General Ledger is a compilation of all the university's business transactions. The journal uploads (chargebacks), payments and deposits are all entered into the General Ledger. These transactions are the building blocks for financial reporting to internal and external sources.

At UW-Green Bay, WISER is the tool commonly used to view the fiscal activity of departments and project/grants. The information in WISER is extracted from the General Ledger.
