Particularly in our region, there are an abundance of careers in healthcare, transportation agencies, software development, government organizations, schools and banks. And this need isn’t going to slow down any time soon. From information security analysts (32%) to computer and information systems managers (16%) to software developers (25%), the employment rate of many occupations in computer and information technology is expected to rise over the next ten years (Occupational Outlook Handbook, 2024).
