That means, if you want to be marketable after you graduate, you'd better get some on-the-job experience now. You can do it with internships. Internships are a great way to give your career a trial run, create mentoring relationships and network. Many internships even lead to a full-time job after graduation.

For-Credit Internship
If you're completing an internship for credit, you and your faculty advisor will need to complete the Internship Registration Form located on the Registrar's website.
