Academy 101
Welcome to Wizarding Academy! In this camp, you will learn about potions, herbology, magical creatures, wand care, divination, transfiguration, spectral scopes and much, much more. You will be sorted by the sorting hat, receive your own wand, compete in the Tri-Wizarding Tournament and receive an award at your OWL graduation! This camp is for aspiring wizards going into 4th grade through those who have completed 8th grade. This camp will take place at the beautiful UW-Green Bay campus in the Mary Ann Cofrin Hall Building. Campers will enjoy a one-of-a-kind camp experience with the professors from the UW-Green Bay, College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and led by Professor Pilmaier.

Schedule
This camp runs 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Campers will participate in learning opportunities in the morning and afternoon with a break for lunch.
Tools for Success
Health Form
Our camp Health Forms are electronic! You will receive a notification from CampDoc once you register. You will then, need to finish your camper's profile up to 100% completion. Campers can only be admitted into camp when their camper profile is 100% complete. This must be complete a week prior to camp start. to camp that will prompt you to fill out your Health Form online. Health Forms must be filled out online before your camper checks-in to camp.
Accident Insurance
The UW-Green Bay Health and Counseling Center is not available for camps or other youth programs. Therefore, parents/guardians will be notified of any suspected or known illness or injury. Accident insurance through the University of Wisconsin is automatically included for all kids at camp. This limited policy covers injuries relating to camp accidents only. It is understood that medical costs in excess of camp insurance will be borne by parents or guardians.

Instructor
Valerie Murrenus Pilmaier
Associate Professor of Humanities, UW-Green Bay
Professor Pilmaier was a graduate of Hogwarts, and she later went to university and got a PhD in the Literature of Wizardry. At Hogwarts, she teaches History of Witches and Wizardry, Divination and Transfiguration. In her spare time, she likes to live in the muggle world as a professor of English and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies at UW-Green Bay.
