So you want to be a Stagehand?
If you are interested in technical theatre and have always wanted to work on the Weidner stage...here is your chance.
STagehand Camp
This camp will offer opportunities to interested technical theatre students looking to enhance their knowledge with practical skills and state of the art technology that they might not get at the high school or even college level. Skills to include flying and rigging, lighting fundamentals, spotlight work, truck loading and packing, stage management, building management, audio/video set ups and much more. Work with trained professionals, go to areas rarely seen by the general public and gain the skills needed to become a professional Stagehand all while having a lot of fun as well.

Commuter Camp
Green Bay Campus
Grades: 9-12
Cost
$350
Includes instruction, supplies & lunch each day.
Schedule
Campers will participate in learning opportunities in the morning and afternoon with a break for lunch.
Tools for Success
Health Form
Our camp Health Forms are electronic! You will receive a notification from CampDoc once you register. You will then, need to finish your camper's profile up to 100% completion. Campers can only be admitted into camp when their camper profile is 100% complete. This must be complete a week prior to camp start. to camp that will prompt you to fill out your Health Form online. Health Forms must be filled out online before your camper checks-in to camp.
Accident Insurance
The UW-Green Bay Health and Counseling Center is not available for camps or other youth programs. Therefore, parents/guardians will be notified of any suspected or known illness or injury. Accident insurance through the University of Wisconsin is automatically included for all kids at camp. This limited policy covers injuries relating to camp accidents only. It is understood that medical costs in excess of camp insurance will be borne by parents or guardians.

The Weidner, Production Manager
As the Production Manager for the Weidner, Corey brings his career experience to this special camp. Corey has been involved with the Weidner productions since 1998, and as a UW-Green Bay alumni, he shares his passion for theater design and technology.
