LeadGB camps provide girls & boys with opportunities to learn from community leaders. These camps offer tailored programming to suit the needs of our young leaders in training, so they can rise.
2024 LeadGB Camps
LeadGB: Girls
Session 1: June 17-21, 2024; 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Session 2: July 15-19, 2024; 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Grades: 1-8
Cost: $250 per session, includes daily lunch
LeadGB camp was initiated to provide young girls with opportunities to enhance their life skills, maximize their overall wellness, and develop personal growth strategies. Girls today experience an unprecedented amount of stress in their lives. The ability to not only handle these stressors, but to turn them into growth opportunities is an important factor in future success. Even at a young age, young women need to feel a sense of empowerment and one of the best ways to build confidence and self-awareness is by connecting with positive female role models. The program is female based, female supported and is dedicated to developing future women leaders.
LeadGB: Boys
Session 1: July 8-12, 2024; 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Session 2: July 15-19, 2024; 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Grades: 4-8
Cost: $250 per session, includes daily lunch
LeadGB camp was developed to help boys develop better communication and life skills, learn to respect themselves and others, and focus on the importance of prioritizing their health and wellness. This boy's camp provides young men with opportunities to learn from excellent mentors. Grades 4-8 are critical years for boys, and the confidence and leadership skills they attain during the camp has been proven to have long-term effects. Through a combination of challenging hands-on activities, exploration, and spending time talking about healthy and positive life choices, the young men will develop into future leaders who will one day serve as mentors themselves.

Chelsea Faase, Camp Director, LeadGB: Girls
Dr. Chelsea Faase spent 12 years in K-8 education, and currently is faculty at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She believes that all students should be constantly faced with opportunities to learn and grow, academically and personally, and it's the educator's job to foster that curiosity in education, to empower students to take learning upon themselves, and use that learning to foster new learning and curiosity.
Charles Brehm, Camp Director, LeadGB: Boys
Chuck Brehm is currently in his 3rd year as the Associate Principal at West De Pere Intermediate School. Prior to his current position he was a K-12 physical education teacher for 15 years. Through his educational experiences and life experiences he strives to provide authentic growth experiences for the students and children he works with in hopes of developing them physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially.
