About Business Administration
Be an Engaged
Learner
Become an innovative leader.
To help develop your career, our program is an umbrella that encompasses four emphases: general business, business analytics, entrepreneurship and supply chain management. No matter your emphasis, you’ll get access to hands-on learning opportunities, flexible classes that fit your life and a wide network of alumni, professors and business mentors.

Student Orgs
Grow professionally and personally as you meet people, develop skills and get access to internship opportunities.
Research
Conducting research helps continue innovation in our field and gives you a boost for job opportunities.
Focus Your Degree
As a business administration major, you'll choose between four emphases. You have the option to complete two emphasis areas, making you a better qualified job applicant for internships and post-graduate employment opportunities! The core coursework for these areas overlap with other majors offered in the Cofrin School of Business, so you could easily complete a double major by adding a few extra classes.

General Business
Get a broad understanding of all aspects of business, including accounting, human resources, management and finance. This emphasis is available fully-online.

Business Analytics
With a degree in business analytics, you’ll be invaluable to any organization. A relatively new and forward-thinking specialty, business analytics uses data to make decisions and solve problems.

Entrepreneurship
Got aspirations to own your own business? Our emphasis in entrepreneurship is right for you. You’ll take courses in marketing, finance, accounting and business strategy.

Supply Chain Management
One unforeseen impact of COVID-19 was problems with the supply chain, from specific car parts to toilet paper to formula. With a degree in this emphasis, you can help address these problems. This emphasis is available fully-online.

A Business Minor
...with major benefits!
We have two minors available: business administration and international business. With a minor in business administration, you'll gain an understanding of key business concepts, and become qualified for any organization regardless of your major. With a minor in international business, you'll learn how global trends impact local organizations.
Complementary Certificates
UW-Green Bay offers many certificates and some pair particularly well with a Business Administration major:

Go Beyond
Your Degree
"I love all the emphases I can choose from. I was able to choose entrepreneurship because I love all the aspects of starting a business. It really helped me focus on taking classes that I found enjoyable and motivated me to go beyond my degree."
