Samantha Betancur (she/her/hers) serves as the Camps and Outreach Coordinator. As the Coordinator, she works with faculty and surrounding community partners to create STEM-focused opportunities for the community to engage in. Samantha has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in animal behavior from Carroll University. She also has a Master of Arts in Biology with a focus on blending technology and traditional methods to increase one's connection to nature from Miami University. Samantha comes to UW-Green Bay after working at the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores as the Outreach Coordinator for 11 years. She is excited to be a part of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology team where she will be able to create opportunities that will build the interest of STEM careers in our state's youth.
