Course Description

Many clinicians do not receive thorough training on diagnosing Gender Dysphoria, understanding clients' needs and struggles, or addressing their individual concerns when accessing a provider. This training will offer a comprehensive investigation into Gender Dysphoria as a diagnosis. Additionally, it will provide cultural competence in working with individuals experiencing Gender Dysphoria. Many of these clients will need support for struggles unrelated to their diagnosis.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to confidently diagnose individuals with Gender Dysphoria.
  • Participants will gain cultural competency skills while working with individuals with Gender Dysphoria.
  • Participants will reflect on their own biases and how they may appear in sessions.
