Course Description
This course is ideal for mental heath professionals seeking to enhance their expertise in community recovery services and provide high-quality car to their clients. This asynchronous, self-paced training is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective community mental health support, including community living supportive services, peer support services and supported employment services. This comprehensive course covers a wide range of topics, including CRS services, client rights, recovery principles, trauma-informed practices, person-centered planning, psychiatric rehabilitation, crisis de-escalation, mental health disorders, substance use disorders and psychopharmacology. With 10 hours of engaging content, including interactive quizzes and knowledge checks, you'll learn to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health and co-occurring disorders.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, you'll be able to:
