Bog rosemary, as the name implies, grows mostly in bogs in the northern part of Wisconsin, although a few locations have been reported in southeastern Wisconsin. The plants are often less than 2 feet tall, the leaves are alternate, long and narrow with entire, inrolled margins. The underside of the leaf is bright white in color and the upper surface is often a conspicuous blue-green color which stands in stark contrast to the other vegetation around it.
