We Have a Lot to
Celebrate
Thanks to everyone who attended Celebrate 2025.
We hosted an afternoon of connection, learning and inspiration for women in Northeast Wisconsin on February 27. Over 450 people came together to celebrate with us. Keep the excitement going and join us at any of our monthly events to learn, connect and celebrate each other. We'd love to see you at an upcoming Caffeinated Conversation or Stories from Experience.

It's Hard to Be
What You Can't See
"There was one person in the room who championed me, and that one person ended up changing my life and vocation."
Alicia Pelton
Program Director, Coaching HER
Alicia shared her three “Cs” of leadership for change during her keynote. Learn more about Alicia's work with Coaching Her.
- Commitment: You have to be committed to something before you can make change. Take a step. Any step.
- Choices: When you have commitment, choices are easier. If you don't have commitment, choices are random.
- Compassion: Compassion is meeting others where they're at. Choices and commitment with compassion are decisions made with empathy, understanding and care for others’ well-being.

Believe in Women Even When They don't Believe in Themselves
"To have a world-class culture, the team must align on standards of culture and the meaning of leadership."
Abbey Sutherland, Head Women's Volleyball Coach, UW-Green Bay, gave attendees an inside look at the culture of her team, and spoke about how they use leadership language in their gym. Support the team by attending a game. View upcoming matches.

the Beauty & Inspiration of the Arts
"At NEWDO, we are a garden, each blossom unique, yet all rooted in our love for dance."
The Institute continued its tradition of celebrating the arts' beauty and impact on leadership. NEWDO dancers showcased women supporting each other, likening them to flowers—each planting a seed that grows into the next, inspired by those who came before.

Accelerate Action
For Gender Equality
Help drive change all year long.
International Women's Day 2025 on March 8 calls us to "Accelerate Action" for gender equity. At the current rate, achieving parity will take until 2158, but we can speed up the progress. Celebrate 2025 attendees struck the #AccelerateAction pose in solidarity. Here’s a few ways we can all make a difference to support women's advancement:
- Call out stereotypes and challenge discrimination
- Celebrate women’s achievements and support their success
- Ensure women and girls have access to education, health and economic opportunities

Your Voice Matters
Take the 2025 Leadership Horizon Survey before March 31.
In collaboration with the Cofrin School of Business and David Radosevich Ph.D.’s research team, we’ve launched the 2025 Leadership Horizon Survey. Help us shape the future of leadership by sharing your insights. The survey is available now and will close on March 31, 2025.
