The UW-Green Bay Personal Financial Planning Program and Charles Schwab Center for Financial Wellness introduce Wealth Management Day. This day-long event provides company representatives and financial planning students with a structured opportunity to get to know each other and mutually advance their aspirational career objectives. Networking between firms, students and educators advances the financial planning profession.

The Wealth Management Day will include a Keynote address by executive leadership from the CFP Board, a NextGen scholarship and career panel from national leadership Schwab Advisor Services, an UW-Green Bay Alumni panel, concurrent industry insights sessions, networking breaks, lunch, and round-robin interviews between students and firms.

K. Dane Snowden joined CFP Board as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in November 2023. As COO, he leads the organization’s core business operations, including certification, marketing, communications, public relations, public awareness, project management and human resources.

Dane serves as a key business partner to the CEO and the Board of Directors and is responsible for collaborating with other members of the executive leadership team to execute the organization’s strategic priorities and align resources to support business objectives and operational goals

Registration Deadlines

  • Friday, August 1: Employer deadline to register for event and interviews
  • Wednesday, September 24: Student Priority deadline for matching you with interviewers.
  • Wednesday, October 8: Student Final deadline to register for event

University Attendees

Financial planning students from UW-Green Bay and area universities are encouraged to attend. Registration is free for all students and their faculty and staff mentors.
